Andrew Hennessey joined the Cox Scholars Program team as the Cox Legacy Scholars Program Coordinator in August 2019.

In May 2019, Andrew was awarded a B.A. in Sociology and a B.A. in Gender Studies with Honors from Indiana University Bloomington. During his time as an undergraduate student at IU, Andrew had the privilege of serving as a Hudson & Holland Scholar, a Shoemaker Scholar, and the Advocate for Community Engagement at Fairview Elementary School through the Cox Engagement Scholarship. Throughout these experiences, Andrew cultivated his passion for working with people of various identities and backgrounds, particularly in the nonprofit world.

Andrew is currently pursuing a Master of Public Affairs through the Indiana University O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. When he isn’t volunteering with the community, overseeing the Cox Legacy Scholars, or studying, Andrew loves to research new developments in the automotive industry and explore new cultures.
