Moira McAuliffe joined the Cox Scholars Program in June 2025 as Senior Assistant Director and Coordinator. In her role, she supports the day-to-day operations of the Cox Scholars Program while helping scholars find their passions inside and outside of the classroom.

Moira earned a bachelor’s degree in history and social science education from Illinois State University. She still holds her teaching credentials in secondary education. Moira previously worked in college admissions, where she supported students and families through the enrollment process.

Moira is passionate about mentoring and supporting students in reaching their goals. Originally from Chicago, she enjoys road trips, exploring new places, and spending time with her miniature dachshund, JoJo.
