Tell us about your work placement experience.
My work placement experience has allowed me to develop and hone my skills. Through this hands-on experience, I've not only learned valuable lessons in science that will benefit my future but also gained a deeper understanding of how research operates beyond the classroom and into real-world applications.
What is something you have learned through your work?
The importance of surrounding yourself with people who want to see you succeed and will help you achieve that!
How will being a part of the Cox Scholars Program help you in the future?
Being a part of this program will help me when it comes to applying to and being in graduate school and incorporating the foundations that I have learned.
What is your favorite memory as a Cox Scholar?
My favorite memory as a Cox Scholar would be going to Bradford Woods and seeing how everyone in my cohort got along and the similarities we share.
What do you do outside of the Cox Scholars Program?
I am a part of Ballet Folklorico de IU and I work in the hospital as a pharmacy technician and patient care technician in medical imaging.
