Sarah Fogleman began working as Coordinator of the Cox Research Scholars Program in August 2021. She loves meeting with students, hearing about their ideas in research and creative activity, and connecting students with professors. Her favorite part of her job is seeing students grow and learn so much about themselves and their interests through their Cox Research experience.
Sarah grew up in a small town in northwestern Minnesota and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Latvia from 1998–2000. She earned a dual M.A. from the Russian & East European Institute and School of Library and Information Science at IU and has worked in a variety of capacities at IU (REEI’s Russian Studies Workshop, the Slavic Collection at Wells Library, Slavica Publishers) while taking care of her family. When she is not working, she loves to study languages, play card games with her family, swim at the IU Outdoor Pool in the summer, and knit in the winter.
