Sarah joined the Cox Scholars Program as the Coordinator for the Cox Engagement Scholars, also called the or ACEs, in 2022. As part of the Service-Learning Program at IU, ACEs help facilitate service-learning and serve as liaisons between university faculty, service-learning students, and community partners.

As a long-time instructor and graduate student at IU, Sarah brings her passion for pedagogy, social justice, and civic engagement to her work and strives to support ACEs’ professional, academic, civic, and personal development. Sarah has a B.A. in English from UIUC and holds a Ph.D. in English at IU Bloomington, with a concentration in Renaissance drama, cultural studies, and critical race theory.
