Lillian Rogers is a graduate student pursuing her M.P.A. and serves as a graduate assistant for the Cox Scholars Program. As an undergraduate, she was a Cox Research Scholar and conducted research on School Resource Officers with Dr. Rutherford at the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Lillian recently completed a B.A. with majors in international studies, Slavic languages and cultures, and East Asian languages and cultures. In her master’s program, Lillian focuses on public and non-profit management and is interested in higher education policy.
As a previous recipient of the Cox Scholarship, Lillian understands the impact of the program and wants to contribute to the success of future Cox Scholars. She credits her research and cohort as having the largest impact on her undergraduate career and wants to foster a similar supportive environment for other students. Lillian is always excited to hear from Cox Scholars about their experiences and how passionate they are about the work that they do.
In her free time, Lillian enjoys eating food and listening to music from all over the world. For food recommendations in Bloomington, she recommends Taste of India or Little Tibet on Fourth Street. Lillian speaks Russian and Korean and is always interested in learning more languages.
